The RuffNeck basketball system is a fixed height, gooseneck design pole system constructed of 4.5" diameter, weather resitant galvanized schedule 40 steel tubing and a 48" direct bury post.
The direct rim mount design allows the rim to be mounted through the backboard and into the post, eliminating backboard stress and extending product life.
Standard post to backboard extension distance is 48", with an option to upgrade to a 60" extension if desired for greater safe play area.

Limited Warranty Information for First Team RuffNeck Select Basketball Hoop - 60 Inch Acrylic
All First Team products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.
The First Team Lifetime Limited Warranty covers any damage caused by normal basketball activity and normal player contact with the goal. "Normal basketball activity" and "Normal player contact" shall be described as any action that is necessary for participation in the game of basketball. Deliberate hanging on the rim, multiple player hanging, and vandalism are not covered under the Limited Warranty.
Any normal wear and tear caused by weathering or UV exposure is not covered under any First Team warranty. All painted items carry a one year limited warranty on coating.
The First Team RuffNeck Select Basketball Hoop - 60 Inch Acrylic is considered an institutional basketball system, and is warranted for both residential and non-residential use.
