There is no need to calculate exact extension before ordering, because the system is specifically designed to provide wall-to-backboard extension distances anywhere from 4' - 6' during installation. This allows the unit to be fine-tuned to match existing court markings on the floor, avoiding costly rework and field modifications commonly caused by measurement errors. Consider this is a great addition to your school, church, YMCA, or youth center when your facility requires that the basketball goals be folded against the wall to make room for volleyball or other activities. The unit swings left or right for storage close to the wall without tools or ladders. Folding the unit is easy. Simply use the adjustment crank provided with each unit to loosen the adjustment screw. Grab the rim with the hook on the crank and tug on the unit to slide it against the wall. Then tighten the adjustment screw to secure the unit. Reverse the process to set up for play, it's that simple!

Limited Warranty Information for First Team FoldaMount 46 Performance - 72 Inch Fiberglass
All First Team products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.
The First Team Lifetime Limited Warranty covers any damage caused by normal basketball activity and normal player contact with the goal.
Normal basketball activity and Normal player contact shall be described as any action that is necessary for participation in the game of basketball.
Deliberate hanging on the rim, multiple player hanging, and vandalism are not covered under the Limited Warranty.
Any normal wear and tear caused by weathering or UV exposure is not covered under any First Team warranty.
All painted items carry a one year limited warranty on coating.
The First Team FoldaMount 46 Performance - 72 Inch Fiberglass is considered an institutional basketball system, and is warranted for both residential and non-residential use.
